Peel open the sterile seal on one needle. Hold the pen steady and screw the needle onto the pen tip clockwise until you feel firm resistance. Do not overtighten. Remove the outer protective cap and set it aside, then remove the inner cap just before dispensing your dose. After the session, unscrew the used needle from the pen and dispose of it in a sharps container. Never recap a used needle with the inner cap.
